Bob Ellis started Range Installers Window Company in 1988 after working in the field for years. His passion for woodworking and attention to detail allowed him the opportunity to be the lead finish carpenter for Waconia Homes. Bob then worked as the area window serviceman for both Waconia Homes and Thermal Line Windows ( purchased by THV Compozit) until they offered him a franchise opportunity to sell and install their products. With his prior experience in service work and finishing, this opportunity was a natural fit. What makes Bob unique is that is he has installed, serviced, or replaced virtually every window that has ever been designed. He knows what works and what doesn't work, and is very proud to stand behind THV Compozit windows and doors.

Range Installers is a two man operation with his son Bryan. He started learning the trade early as a summer job during high school and college and realized there was a great opportunity for him in the window industry. Bryan is very meticulous and detail oriented and has and has been working full time with Range Installers since 2005.

With our years of hands on experience in the window and door industry, we understand that most jobs are unique in their own way and there are different options when it comes to the installation and finishing process. A poorly installed or a wrongly measured window or door can cause all sorts of problems with operation, insulating, and finishing and can be very time consuming and expensive to fix. We have fixed or replace hundreds of these over the years and it is much easier and more cost effective to get it done right the first time!

We take pride in the fact that its a two person operation and we handle all the sales, ordering, installation, and warranty work ourselves. Our expertise in the installation process and knowledge of the products allows us to assist you in making the best choice both cosmetically for your home and for optimal performance of our products.

• We have replaced every kind of window out there and that makes us very knowledgeable and efficient at what we do...from knowing how to measure each window accurately to the finishing work as all jobs are unique in their own way. We know what to expect and what each job entails before we start.

• We are able to keep our overhead costs low. All of our products are custom ordered and manufactured, thus eliminating the need for inventory. As a family operated business we handle all the sales, ordering, installation, and warranty from within. We believe this helps us better understand your vision and make it a reality!
